Learning Resources and Mechanism

The University inculcates conceptual and technical skills in students through teaching methodology based on lectures, Case studies, Presentations, Mock Interviews, Seminars, Group Discussions, Projects, Assignment, Quizzes, etc., well supplemented by overhead projectors, LCD projectors and audio visual display.

(i) Laboratories
In all branches of Faculties / Directorates / Departments, the University imparts effective technical training to the students in workshops and laboratories.

(ii) Lectures
Regular class lectures are arranged on each subject by well-qualified and experienced permanent /visiting faculty members.

(iii) Seminars
The exchange of ideas and sharing of knowledge helps to inculcate the awareness of the latest technology in students.

(iv) Group Discussion
The group discussions form a regular feature of the teaching methodology where students, in a group of six to eight, discuss various topics related to their field and also of current awareness.

(v) PDP Classes
Regular sessions for personality development are conducted. Their proficiency is reinforced through the sessions by emphasizing development of the interactive, creative and analytical skills.

(vi) Assignments
Students are given assignments for which they require to collect material and a write-up within the specified time-period for submitting it to the concerned faculty.

(vii) Quizzes
Quizzes are arranged weekly, consisting of questions from the subjects taught in a Trimester of General Awareness, Business Round-up, etc.

(viii) Project-generation

Students are motivated to undertake certain projects related to their branches. Brain-storming sessions are conducted by the senior faculty members to help them to generate, execute and implement such projects.

(ix) Continuous Assessment
Continuous Assessment is made through class room participations, class assignments, seminar presentation, quizzes, class tests, Mid-Term and End-Term Examinations.

(x) Case Studies
Case studies are done by the students under the guidance of respective faculty members.

(xi) Mock Interviews
To make familiar with the placement interviews, students have been gone through the mock interviews to present themselves in a professional way.

(xii) Presentations

Presentations on different important and current topics are given by the students as well as the experts to enhance the performance of the students.

(xiii) Academic Tools:

a. For ON Campus candidates, University recommends Text books & provides Notes to the students for their learning support.
b. For Distance Education Candidates, University provides Self Learning Material (SLM) with Multimedia Kit for their learning support.
