A-: For Student Voice The University has provided two crucial platforms to its students for reaching their voice directly to the University Management if facing any problem.
1) Samiksha Desk
2) Jayoti Sangh
Samiksha Desk - is a platform especially for the students to make them feel free to share or discuss any problem being faced by them directly with the VISIONARY FOUNDER & ADVISOR- Dr. Panckaj Garg or his nominee. As the Hon’ble Founder is the First Guardian of the students of Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University so he is keenly interested to have a weekly interaction with representatives of each class stream wise. Two students from each stream selected by all the students of that stream come as representatives and share their problems with our Visionary Founder. The interaction is held on every Saturday just after the classes. The name of two students from each discipline is given to the JSR on or before Friday. As the University is for students, our Visionary Founder wishes to give them homely environment which will surely help the students in their regular studies. It also gives a mental boost up to the students for their studies.
Jayoti Sangh - The SANGH acts as a representative body for the students by the students.
It reflects the aspirations and demands of the student community of JVWU. The Sangh acts as a bridge between the University administration and the general student. Jayoti Sangh is a volunteer set-up of students which organizes various on and off campus socio-cultural events and support i.e. Medical, Social responsibility, sports and activities undertaken various projects for community welfare.
B-: For Grievances –
Redress Cell- The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University is committed for upholding the dignity of all members of the University by creating an employment and educational environment free from sexual harassment, unlawful persecution, discrimination of any kind and working grievance.
At University, a University Redress Cell (URC), comprising of University nominee or other nominees from any council/body, student, staff and others. The Cell takes cognizance of complaints about sexual harassment, grievance, and discrimination reported on campus3, and shall conducts enquiries, provides assistance and reprisal to the victims, recommending penalties and taking action against the defaulter.
The complaints may be entertained by the cell within a period of seven days from the day of alleged event in Chief Warden Office / Registrar Office / Deputy Registrar Office / Asst Registrar Office with the proof and/or office issue complaint registration number.
C. Against Misbehavior –
Anti Ragging Committee
Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University has been vigilant and cautious to prevent the menace and Fear of Ragging which happen to be concern of all the educational institutions and University in India. The old students of the University are adviced refrain themselves from Ragging. The University has formed a “Anti-Ragging Committee” to curb the menace of ragging and any type of misbehavior.
It is the duty of Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of these Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging and also to monitor and oversee the performance in prevention of ragging in the institution.
