- The Evaluation of the delivered credits and activities is based on two tier system namely: -
(i) Continuous Assessment (ii) End Term Examination.
- The distribution of weightage for evaluation of academic activities shall be-
(i) Continuous Assessment-30% (In which 05 marks are allotted for General Awareness)
(ii) End Term Examination-70%

- Grade in each subject will be calculated from the total marks obtained in Continuous Assessment and End Term Examination in that subject.
- Final Grade in each Trimester/ Semester/ Year will be calculated from the aggregate of marks obtained in all the subjects as per total maximum marks allotted to that Trimester/ Semester/ Year.
- Final Grade of the Program shall be calculated from the Grades obtained in all the Trimesters/ Semesters/ Years allotted to that program.
- A candidate securing E grade shall be considered as backlog and has to clear the backlogs within the maximum duration of the course (Minimum duration of the Course + 3 years).
- Absentee or Exam Cancel will be treated as Backlog candidate.
- Final Year(s)/Semester(s)/ Trimester(s) Memorandum of Marks, will not be issued until previous backlog(s) are cleared, however the result will be declared.
- In case of any error being detected in Memorandum of Marks and is brought to notice of the Examination Authorities, the University is fully empowered to correct the same.
- Grace Marks: Grace Marks will be awarded in the first attempt in Theory Papers of End Term Examination. One Grace Mark will be awarded on the total marks of theory paper (Maximum in two theory papers) except Online or OMR based Examination.
- The University has two types of category of students:
Category A: Internal Students-The students who pursue a Regular Face to face or Distance/Online/Counseling based course of study at University campus or its collaborative centers. If the student completes the course by attending evening classes, then Internal (Evening) shall be mentioned on the Mark Sheet.
Category B: External Students-The students who are not internal students and prepare for University Examinations as per rules are external students or the person who have not pursued the course of study in any of the University Campus or its Collaborative Centers but she/he has appeared and passed the examinations of the University as a non regular student, is an external student.
- The University Awards Degree(s) with nomenclature as specified in 22(3) of the UGC Act 1956 & also Certificate(s), Diploma(s), Post Graduate Diploma(s) to Female Candidates enrolled in Regular Programs & to both Male & Female candidates enrolled in Distance Education Programs and Research Programs of the University.
- It is compulsory for a candidate to obtain the “Certificate of Community Awareness Education” and “Certificate of Professional Communication” and such others for obtaining any Degree of Regular Program except Research Programs and one year Academic Programs. In Distance Education Programs, a candidate has to clear all the prescribed Non Credit Courses like Women’s Right, Women’s Law, and such others. The evaluation in both the compulsory programs and Non Credit Courses shall be based on Continuous Assessment only and there will be no End Term Examination.
- All the disputes pertaining to Examinations and its related matters will be referred compulsorily to a “Tribunal of
Arbitration” of the University before availing the judicial remedies in a court whose Jurisdiction shall be Jaipur
District only.
