Cultural & Sports
Various cultural and sports events are organized by University on annual basis. This helps in developing the ability to organize and lead an integrated life. The University celebrates each religious and other festival like Makar Sankranti, Eid, Lohri, Diwali, Holi, Independence Day, Republic Day etc. Students of Jayoti Cadet Corps (JCC) and Jayoti Band also pay significant role in the functions of the University as these are called as University Icon.
The University also organizes the grand annual fest of the University ‘Jayoti Utsav’ every year. The members of Jayoti Sangh organize this function and show their inherent talents by cultural, artistic performances. The University is the member of ACCU -United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization – Culture Sector. This is the platform for students to explore their talent excellence at International level.
Students’ life and activities on the campus provide a challenging and creative environment which promotes independent thinking, introspection and leads the young students to become aware of the consequences of their own actions.
A number of sports activities are organized by University to encourage interaction among the students. University has appointed three full time physical instructors for physical training, track & field activities and other sports. Coaches for specific sport are also invited regularly to coach the students.
The University is associated with the Association of Indian Universities (For Inter University Tournaments). This year the University Volleyball Team comprising 14 members participated in the South-West Zone Inter University Volleyball (Women) Tournament held from 11th November to 15th November, 2010 at Laxmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior and University Basketball Team comprising 14 members participated in the South-West Zone Inter University Basketball (Women) Tournament held from 15th November to 20th November, 2010 at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer.

Outdoor - Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Football, Cricket, Hand Ball, Scatting, Ring
Throw Ball, Track, Long Jump, Shot Put, Athletics, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Wrestling, Judo, Hockey
Indoor - Table Tennis, Judo, Carom, Chess, Ludo and many more etc.
